Average Cost
The average cost depends, like most things, on experience and other factors for a wedding video, too, but at the end of the day, you pay for what you get, as they say. The average ranges from £1,290 to £1,990, with me sitting at a good average. This depends on packages, though, so if you have someone there for an hour, that would be a bit cheaper than someone there all day. It won’t make a big difference for someone to film for an hour instead of a full day; the price would not make that much of a difference. If you book someone for an hour, you are missing out on a significant portion of the day.
What should you budget?
I believe experts suggest allocating 10-20% of your overall budget. Taking into account that the average wedding is £13,000 upwards, this means your videography budget should ideally fall into my price range. All being said, what are you left with after the day? Memories fade over time, which is exactly why you should book as soon as possible, and this should be one of your priorities.

All un-edited video footage will be saved separately and includes camera footage with audio, and should be around two to three hours worth of footage, depending on how long I’m booked for.
