Over the years, I have been fortunate to have filmed some great weddings. I have produced wedding videos across Northern Ireland, in Omagh, Downpatrick, Cookstown, Kesh, Banbridge and over the Irish border in Sligo and Monaghan. I have filmed weddings in castles, mills and hotels. Here is a selection of wedding videos I have produced. My highlight wedding films are typically around 8 to 15 minutes long and show off the most incredible parts of your day, perfect for sharing online with family and friends.
Some of these short highlight films are cinematic, as the longer videos are more traditional. I find 8 to 13-minute highlights are the best length. Highlights are edited to music, showing the most emotional and visually appealing parts of the day, which might include drone footage, bridal preparation, and dancing. I often also include personal vows and speeches for that emotional touch.
You of course get all your longer footage filmed with both my camera, which I operate, and also all footage filmed from my camera on the tripod, filming wide. A quick introduction from the videographer.
Filmed in Monaghan for this Chinese and Irish couple at Castle Leslie Estate, which is a breathtaking estate, from bridal and groom preparations to the first dance in the marquee, this is a great example of a wedding video highlight, which features a first look!
Filmed at Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown, at Christmas time on New Year's Eve with this Irish and Australian couple who specially flew over for their big day.
Filmed for an Irish bride and European groom at the Sligo Park Hotel. This was more of a get-together and an Irish priest’s blessing than a wedding, as they had tied the knot previously on the UK mainland.
Something unique is a wedding video on Lusty Beg Island, with bridal preparations about an hour away in Enniskillen. The couple are living in the United Kingdom and wanted their wedding day in Northern Ireland with family and friends. Good to hear.
Filmed at Ballydugan Mill, the wedding video in Downpatrick features Westlife heartthrob Nicky Byrne making a pre-recorded speech, which was played during the couple’s speeches. I love older couples’ weddings.
The Belmont Hotel wedding video in Banbridge and Lurgan had a Scottish theme and was a hybrid day, meaning I was taking photos and videos throughout the day. Quite a unique idea that needs careful planning if you're interested.
